Updates and Mini Orcas

July 8th

Hello, Orcas! We have a couple of updates and reminders.

Help Needed tomorrow morning (Thursday)

We are going to run a small 4 lane intramural 10 event meet tomorrow morning during practice from 9:40 - 10:20 to practice with our new timing system. We are looking for 8 volunteers to be timers during this time. You can sign up for this in Swimtopia. The “meet” is called Blue vs Gray. Thank you!

Thursday's Meet:

~ Dive warm ups are at 3:00. Oak Hills will warm up at 3:30. The dive meet starts at 4:00.

~ Please remember your concession stand donation.

~ We need a couple more volunteers for tomorrow night’s meet.

Reminders:

Mini Orcas

~ We are excited to have our Mini Orcas swim their first lap at the beginning of our last home meet of the 2026 season. Mini Orcas will meet their coaches at 6:15 in the mushroom area. They will receive their "team cap" and "warm up" with their coaches. Their coaches will help them get to their lane behind the starting blocks. Mini Orcas are welcome to leave after their lap or stay and watch the Orcas swim.

~ Mini Orcas will have practice tomorrow and Friday. IF your Mini Orca is going to swim at Westside Finals, they are welcome to come to Monday mornings practice. Westside Finals is at North Hills Swim Club and they do have a 6 and under category. If they are not participating in Westside Finals, July 10th is the last practice for Mini Orcas this year.

~ We are finalizing the end of year banquet/party. Mini Orcas are invited to that.
